The Loch Ness monster, is it real??
Recently I decided to see how much the Scottish economy benefited from the Loch Ness monster in Pre Covid times. I was actually staggered to discover that the area surrounding Loch Ness, including Inverness and all the towns along Loch Ness, benefited to the tune of around 40 million pounds. So many private tours of Scotland revolve around this.
This is an incredible amount of money considering not that many people have claimed to have seen Nessie on a guided tour, but if it is bringing people from all over the world to visit Scotland, as an independent guide and tourist operator I’m not going to complain.
I will leave you with this thought, what if there really is a Loch Ness monster, what would that do to visitor numbers and the Scottish economy !!!
